Mrs. Pennyapple is staying with us.

Before Ashlee’s move, I brought Mrs. P up here to stay at our house. She was in declining health, getting old, and seemed to be having small strokes or seizures.

Since being here she has rebounded. She’s put weight back on and is doing great. I’m sure it’s just all part of the cycle. She was getting perfect care at Ashlee’s, too.

Anyway, here is Mrs. P waiting in her plastic bin to have her cage cleaned.

  1. Awwwwww…she’s sweet and patient (esp with that BIG face watching her!). Hooray for improvements! That’s great news. πŸ™‚

She’s beautiful. I love GPs. Can they take aspirin or other stroke preventers?

  3. Poor Mrs. Pennyapple! It happens to us all…. πŸ˜‰

Glad she’s feeling better. Maybe having Orion for company has brought back her energy.

Nice to see her again. And how calm she is with Giant Dawg Head there.

  5. I’ve always loved her name. πŸ˜€ Glad she’s doing better!

Is Miss PA still with you?

    • Lauri says:

Yes. She’s still here. I just gave her some carrot slices. πŸ˜€

        Does she squeak a lot?

        • Lauri says:

Funny you should ask that, as my husband was commenting yesterday that she hasn’t squeaked much at all. At Ashlee’s she could hear the refrigerator being opened and squeaked all the time, but here she is out in the family room, atop the dog crate, and I don’t think she can hear us rummaging in the veggie bin in the frig. She’s pretty quiet.

Or maybe she’s afraid of being visited by Mr. Bighead if she squeaks. He doesn’t really bother her, though.
