Growing fast.

Ellie Claire is twelve weeks old. Which means we have had her five weeks. Time gets so weird the older I get. I was a bit worried about going through the puppy stage, but it has gone so fast I needn’t have worried. Yay.

She’s looking like an older dog already.

Ellie 12 weeksShe’s very sweet. She knows “No”…hears it a lot because she chews everything from furniture to hands and feet.

Let me see if there are any other pics I could share. Bumble bee leafI ordered these supposedly sturdy toys. One was a beehive with three bees with squeakers in them. Orion took his bee outside and zoomed all over with it. The bees lasted one full day, so a grand time was had by all. Sheldon was the master at de-stuffing bees.

Someday I’ll do a post that doesn’t involve dogs or penises. Promise! Bumble bee run

Woooohoooooo!! Growing puppeeee!!!! What a sweetheart! Great pix!!!!
And Orion is wonderful with her, hunh?
Wow, those toys don’t last. Cat ones don’t either.
If it’s any consolation, I found Pickles trying to swallow a paper towel yesterday.

I like to hear Sheldon still gets in on the fun in spite of being the Elder 🙂

Ellie, with that labness, is gonna give you plenty of puppyhood even after she grows into her puppy paws. That’s one you can count on!

Wait…she’s 12 weeks? I thought she was older. (Yes, time does do weird stufff…LOL) She really is beautiful, even so young.

Aww, eeeeee! (And Orion/Earnest is such a big boy now!)

  5. awww, they are both so darned adorable!

  6. Laurie says:

She still looks puppyish to me, even before you photographed her next to the biggest dog in the house. Also she still looks like she’s made of chocolate mousse. How have you not simply gobbled her up already?

    • Lauri says:

It’s hard not to nom on her! She is so soft! And she loves Tummy Time….which is either filling her tummy four times a day, or rolling over and getting tummy rubs. Puppy tummies are so darn cute!

Aww, look at that little face – so cute. She still looks like a puppy & is a gorgeous colour.

Awwwwwwww. What a lovely sturdy girl she is. And so nice for big brothers to be showing her the ropes. I imaging Shel saying, “And *this* is how you destuff a stuffy toy.” Have you tried any of the Go Dog! toys or Tuffy toys? I’ve got a shark Tuffy that has lasted for 2 years!!! Unheard of! Bigs plays with him every day and he’s about to start losing stuffings, but 2 years and he’s still holding on.

The size difference is amazing! Orion looks so patient and serene. He’s going to be a great teacher for Ellie.

Stuffed bees, I love it! (How Best in Show of you……….) 😀
