Furkids Pics

Hello!

It become very cold today. The temperature dropped all day long. Summer is definitely gone. So, it’s time to post some animal snorfling pics.

Orion wants to know every single thing that we do. Such as laundry. Big dog head in the washer.

How do dryers work?

When it gets cold it’s time to warm up your schnozz on a nice warm cat.

Sheldon and Orion agree that it’s more fun to both play with the same toy at once. They are such good buddies.

I’m leaving Monday for a week in and around Portland, Oregon! A reunion trip with old friends from 6th grade! Three of us! We do this every 5 or 6 years. It really blows my mind to think we have been friends for 44 years!! We’ll be doing some awesome hikes, museums, beach walks and I don’t know what else! You will see pics!

Have fun in Portland. I’ve only been once, but I really liked the town.

Awwww the furkids are so cute. You need to teach Orion how to do laundry, he can reach everything! I can never get over how big great danes are. Sheldon still has the best facial expressions. Have fun in Portland! That is cool you all have kept up for so long.

  3. Lurkertype says:

Wow, seeing Orion with the washer and containers of laundry stuff really shows how big he is! o_O He’s bigger than those mini-horses they show on CO.

Everybody loves Shel. Even torties! *gasp*

  4. The weather has been lovely in Portland. And now I hope I haven’t jinxed it by saying so: it’s a bit early for the rainy season however, so you should have a week of sunshine and cool weather. Just bring a jacket for the evenings. Once the sun goes down, brrr!

That toy looks like it’s begging for help. πŸ˜‰

Bon voyagey! That’s the funnest ever.

Sheldon’s schnoozle on a kitteh is too cute. I’d sneeze! Orion & Bobby have that in common. Mr. Nosey-ies!

  6. Orion is such a handsome boy! Did I tell you abouth the time I was walking behind a dad with alittle kid in a stroller, and someone walked by with a doppled great dane? The kid shrieked with gleee and kept shouting “Mooo! Mooo!” πŸ™‚

Sheldon’s facial expressions remind me of the dog in “Mutts.”

And good grief, Orion is *huge*!!! (and quite handsome.)

  8. Lauri says:

Thanks everybody! I’m all freaking out because I worked since 6 am. Then ran some errands and packed for my trip and now I have to do online check-in and print my boarding passes! Gaaaaah!
And I think I have to get up around 4 am tomorrow. It’s all in the spirit of adventure!
I’ll see ya all next week!

  9. AuntieBellum says:

    Mercy! Earnest is HYOOOOOJ!

I wonder how the cat feels about the cold dog schnozz right in the ribs, though?

  10. Such a long friendship is so cool! Have a lot of fun in Oregon!
(the temp dropped here on Saturday as well…I made pie yesterday)

  11. GOF says:

Sheesh….Orion must have to duck his head whenever he goes through a door.
Enjoy your reunion….it’s wonderful to have lifelong friends like that.

  12. Jaypo says:

Hi, Laruiii! Couldn’t he learn how to unload the washer? But then you’d have to wash all the dog slobber off. Is he big even for a great dane??

    (did darwoo come home?)

  13. Redscylla says:

LOL! Does Orion sample things off the countertops and stove, too? My dogs would love to warm their snozzes on a cat, but that has not been approved by the cats.

  14. chikapash says:

OMG! Such great doggy photos! Look how big the new baby grew! And kitteh looking serene. I hope the chickens and goats are well.

      Hi, hi, HI, Bettina!!!
I’ve missed you and I know you are still blogging, but I keep losing it, or WP is hiding it, or something. I don’t even know. 😦
      Oh, how I miss Vox!
