Fridee

It’s been a week of Dr. appointments. Pleh. How I hate spending any amount of time at Dr.s and Dentists etc. Anyway, I got a ‘script for Voltarin, an Nsaid that is taking away the feeling that my muscles are being peeled away from my bones. Very nice.  I got a clean bill of health other than the fibromyalgia.  Then today I spent 2 1/2 hours mostly waiting in the ophthalmologist’s office. It was a routine checkup. I really like the guy. He did my Lasik surgery. But, I HATE wasting 2 1/2 hours in a waiting room. My long distance vision is still 20/20 after 8 years! w00t! Still need glasses for reading. Always did, always will. Anyway, I won’t be getting a recheck every year if I have to wait that long every time.

I had one of those awesome thoughts pop into my head just a bit ago. We should have named Orion “Rorshach” because I see a different shape every time I look at him. Here he is waiting patiently for his supper. The boy loves to eat! I see a Mickey Mouse in this pic!

Anyway, the Pup has an awesome new collar. Ken says it makes him look more macho. Here’s a close up of his Blanket Ears. (TM Redscylla)

This collar gives me the excuse to sing “Bone to be Wild” to the dogs.

This evening Reuben and Darwin were very concerned about four does who were walking into our front yard. You can see the deer just to the left of Dar’s ear. 🙂

Well, I accomplished nothing this week, except to survive. But that’s quite something and I’ll take it! Happy Weekend, folks!

Surviving is the main thing. Everything else is gravy.

I’m glad you survived as well. *hugs*

  2. You turned on the snow on your blog. Yay! But is there real snow outside your window?

What doctor keeps you waiting two and a half hours in a waiting room? Those are the guys I want to send a bill to, charging them for my time, hmph. But it’s good to know you’re okay.

Orion is getting huge, and so are his spots. I like the brown-mottled one on his side and back.

I love the snow on the blogs! How silly is that?
Yeah….hours of waiting. I almost have panic attacks. I HATE waiting around wasting time.
Anyhoo…..eyes and body are good for another couple of years.
There is snow here…about an inch on the ground. We are supposed to get rain on Sunday, so it might go away! *crosses fingers*

Surviving is a big accomplishment! Your big puppy is growing so fast. Sprocket will never catch up with him at this rate.

Your kitties and puppies have the best window-watching entertainment.

  4. Yay for being healthy and good eyesight! 😀
Oronion looks vereh handsome in his new collar

Dang, 20/20 vision still! woohoo! but dang, 2.5 hours waiting? Good thing you have nothing better to do with your time, right? 😛

    Rorschach! haha, that’s great!

I know…about having nothing better to do with my time. Grrrrr. This is why I put off going to appointments!
Rory Roschach. Would have been good! But, he’s Orion the Onion Hunter, now.

I have to turn on the snow this week — and change my background. I just want to hold Orion and make him a giant lap-dog.

Good to have that stuff done. Hope the new meds work for you. I’m getting blinder and blinder. They can’t do lasik on my eyes for a few reasons. Bah!

My parents were told I’d be blind by my 20s and so far, I’ve proven them WRONG! I’m just not-so-seeing. I can still drive, so I’ve no complaints.

  8. love the collar!!Yep, I can see how O could be your own little pych test!! so cool!

And waiting in a cold room when you have fibromyalgia is no fun, I can attest to that. Sorry to hear it, although your eyesight is now about 100 times better than mine, so I’m jealous. LOL. Your deeogee is just adorable. Have a happy weekend, peep!
