A couple of weekends ago my kids were all home. I got some pictures, a few of all of them together…and one of my oldest son, Adam, his wife, Sarah and their fur-son, Teddy. I ordered this one from Kodak in an 8X10 with their super duper color enhancement. The print arrived a couple of days ago and I am delighted. The colors are excellent!

The colors are spectacular, almost surreal! It’s a gorgeous photo, larui, everything about it!! it’s like they’re in Eden. *gasp* His name is … Adam?
But that’s not an apple tree. No worries.
I heard on a history channel or some such channel in which you tend to believe everything they say—that Eve didn’t give Adam and apple but she gave him a pomegranate. hmmm…of course I was sitting at my desk and not really paying all that close of attention to what was on TV. Although that comment did perk my ears up a moment or two.
Sorry Laurie, for interupting
Jaypo any chance of letting me see your blog is is me DewiCasgwent?
Laurie but lovely photo but clearly the dog doesn’t like posing
David
Teddy did really well with the posing! We had four dogs and 5 people and this was right at the end, so he probably was getting tired of all the hubbub! π
like jaypo sez, the colors are unreal. so crisp and clear.
the picture is very sharp, completely in focus.
I’ve got mom-envy π Great photo, Lauri!
How beautiful!! Great job, Lauri!!!
This is a great pic! Thanks for sharing! π
Fur-son- LOL!
All those lovely scrunchy leaves!
This is a great photo and they are such a wonderful looking family, fur-son and all. They look so well suited to each other. (although I am guessing the doggy is thinking he wishes the photo taking would be done so he could play in all those colorful scrunchy leaves.
Love that picture!
I took some a couple years back of Chris’s niece playing in the leaves. A couple of them just turned out absolutely beautiful. I think the sun and the sky have to be just perfect before you can get a good autumn picture.
I actually love the setting and the differences in the colours. Thanks for sharing!
Oh, that’s such an awesome photo! π
beautiful kids and picture.
That really is a great shot! when you retire from the lab maybe you can do some outdoor portraits for people!
When I retire from the lab I will be too busy smiling to take pictures! Snert!
Lovely photo of all three. You done good π
The color enhanced sky is so vivid it’s almost eerie, like the sky in a surrealist painting. But I love the leaves carpeting the ground, and your kids and dog-grandchild look so happy. These are the moments you really want to capture in a photograph.
That’s a picture to cherish for all time Lauri.
What a beautiful background for a portrait.
This is a fantastic picture!! I know you will enjoy it so much. I love that their dog is in the picture and that the background is beautiful. Adam and Sarah look so happy. I would say you got a winner of a picture, all of the way around!
Very pretty – it’s almost has the feel of a panoramic shot. Gorgeous.
