I had to share…

A couple of weekends ago my kids were all home. I got some pictures, a few of all of them together…and one of my oldest son, Adam, his wife, Sarah and their fur-son, Teddy. I ordered this one from Kodak in an 8X10 with their super duper color enhancement. The print arrived a couple of days ago and I am delighted. The colors are excellent!

The colors are spectacular, almost surreal! It’s a gorgeous photo, larui, everything about it!! it’s like they’re in Eden. *gasp* His name is … Adam?

But that’s not an apple tree. No worries.

I heard on a history channel or some such channel in which you tend to believe everything they say—that Eve didn’t give Adam and apple but she gave him a pomegranate. hmmm…of course I was sitting at my desk and not really paying all that close of attention to what was on TV. Although that comment did perk my ears up a moment or two.

Teddy did really well with the posing! We had four dogs and 5 people and this was right at the end, so he probably was getting tired of all the hubbub! πŸ™‚

like jaypo sez, the colors are unreal. so crisp and clear.
the picture is very sharp, completely in focus.

  6. Fur-son- LOL!
    All those lovely scrunchy leaves!

  7. This is a great photo and they are such a wonderful looking family, fur-son and all. They look so well suited to each other. (although I am guessing the doggy is thinking he wishes the photo taking would be done so he could play in all those colorful scrunchy leaves.

    Love that picture!
I took some a couple years back of Chris’s niece playing in the leaves. A couple of them just turned out absolutely beautiful. I think the sun and the sky have to be just perfect before you can get a good autumn picture.

  9. I actually love the setting and the differences in the colours. Thanks for sharing!

Lovely photo of all three. You done good πŸ™‚

  14. The color enhanced sky is so vivid it’s almost eerie, like the sky in a surrealist painting. But I love the leaves carpeting the ground, and your kids and dog-grandchild look so happy. These are the moments you really want to capture in a photograph.

  15. GOF says:

That’s a picture to cherish for all time Lauri.

What a beautiful background for a portrait.

  16. Freedom Smith says:

This is a fantastic picture!! I know you will enjoy it so much. I love that their dog is in the picture and that the background is beautiful. Adam and Sarah look so happy. I would say you got a winner of a picture, all of the way around!

  17. Emmy says:

Very pretty – it’s almost has the feel of a panoramic shot. Gorgeous.
