The Flower Girl

Joanna had such a good time trying on her flower girl dress this weekend.

All of us had a great time, too! We arrived in South Bend Friday night. My mom and I, Ashlee and Sarah both drove through snow flurries, only to arrive in Indiana to the ground covered with snow! My sister drove from Chicago and had to pull of the expressway when it started snowing so hard that she could not see the car in front of her.

Anyway, everyone made it safely and the snow is gone again and mild temps are back!

Joanna was entranced by her beautiful dress. She danced and curtsied and bowed and swirled. This girl is going to make every moment of the Flower Girl job a special one! šŸ™‚

Hehe, she and Ashlee almost match in the last pic!

  4. What a princess! She’ll probably steal the show from the bride, though Ashlee looks radiant even without the bridal gown.

But thank goodness you guys got through the snowstorm okay. One reason why I moved out of Minnesota was that I didn’t think I could handle another winter of driving on ice without being able to see a thing in front of me. I get the willies just thinking about it. :-0

I love the picture of Joanna from the back. Her braid is so pretty and the back of the dress has a pretty bow. She is a real cutie and I bet she was the best flower girl ever. Swirling in a dress is so much fun!
