I have searched and searched. I checked the “minute usage” on the cellphone and it showed the last call I took on it was Wed. afternoon.
Tonight I was poking around the Verizon website again and found that I had indeed used it to check the weekend weather forecast on Thursday night. Therefore it IS in the house somewhere.
I was tearing around Thursday night installing new cabinet doorknobs in the kitchen. I guess it’s time to go through all the kitchen cabinets. AGAIN!!
It slipped down behind the couch.
Did you check the junk drawer? It’s got everything.
It’s going to be somewhere really stupid….. 🙂
I agree. This is my world.
Actually, I just had another vision. It’s in the dog kennel.
The dog ate it.
Now there’s a clue, LBeeze! Lauri could give up her job and make a fortune with her talking dog. I’ll even call and give it an Aussie accent. For a small fee, of course…
Have you seen the film Snatch? The dog ate it…
No, which is probably just as well.
Can you email your password, as I can’t get in to your blog.
Crikey! I just need your username. I have you as snowy. No password. Email it to me please! Or post in a comment on my blog.

Snowy’s hilarious and …I forget what I was going to say.
I’ll let you know if I have any visions – oh that reminds me of the time I lost my glasses!
Seek! And ye shall find!
Laundry basket? Cookie jar?
Wait! I know! Jaypo hid it somewhere..
I hope she discovered where I hid it… I better go check.
You hidded it in my pocketses!!!
Home you didn’t lay it down near the trash where it may have been knocked in.
Keeping my fingers crossed.
check the fridge. and the car. and maybe pockets of sweatshirts. were you wearing a hoodie?
I bet an evil raccoon stole it.
I still say aliens abducted it.
Harumph… smartphone shmartphone… until they come with an on-board Clapper, they’re just another something-for-me-to-lose.
I’m voting for sandwiched in a pile of newspapers/junk mail/magazines that was on a table/counter and then someone dropped a fresh pile on top.
And then a cat ate it.
fridge or top drawer
good luck!
My son once put his Razor phone on top of my car and we drove many places. It was July 4. In America. Next morning he found it on top of the car still. How that happened I can not tell you. Of course it no longer worked, being a Razor and an overpriced piece of crap. Look on top of your car? ; )
oh fatcat beat me to it I was going to say in the fridge or on top of it.
I once dated a man who was very absent minded. He went through 3 work phones, all dropped in loos when he sat down to take a you-know-what. His workplace refused to replace the 3rd one and gave him a beeper. He was appalled, being a ponce. So 90s.
True story. But trying to make you laugh with these tidbits.
was he by any chance named Dennis? 😉
Lost mine yesterday. Went back to all the “legal wrangling” places I’d been with no luck then went to the neighbor whose ears I burn after all the “legal wrangling” and it was laying on her couch. I’m very lucky the dog “didn’t” eat it there as she has 14 of them in the house. Whewww!
Did you check in the bed? Or under the bed? Probably, huh? Or, under the car seats?
Going to assume you wandered around the house calling it from your home phone?
When I lose something, I ask the cats, and then I find it. But I don’t think they talk to me or anything. Really.
I have been going around the house with a flashlight looking under and behind everything. Leo has been helping me, as he is a HUGE fan of flashlights.
I have to send the beam down the stairs to get rid of him for a moment while I look under something!
I put a picture of it on the side of my milk carton. Hope that helps.
Look under the couch. Our cats swat shit under the couch. Millie loves the smell of money and hides dollar bills. I find them under everything. If only she could visit a rich neighbor and hide a few larger bills under our things. Take the dogs to Mr,Dr. Lauri’s office and scan them. Their is a belly just waiting to tweet. Maybe if there is a little scratching the on button will engage.
Definitely check the fridge. The only time I’ve ever lost my phone, that’s where it ended up. Which helped me make sense of the stick of butter in my purse.
LOL! Naw…
OMG I busted out laughing at the thought of a stick of butter in your purse
The last time my phone went on an adventure, I found it in the car under the driver’s seat. Is that a possibility?
@Redscylla – LOL – a BFF’s mom did something similar when I was a kid and visiting their house. She’d been to the grocery store and an hour or so later couldn’t find her purse. Obviously she’d had it at the store, because she paid for the groceries. My BFF figured out where the purse was when she spotted a jar of pickles on her mom’s dresser.
Flushed.
Were you getting ready to go somewhere when you checked the weather? Maybe it’s in a jacket pocket?
Well hang on…
How big is it? Could it be masquerading as a candy bar?
((hugs))
Look in all the craziest, most unlikely places. I see people have already suggested the fridge and the bedsheets. Have you gone through all of your clothes? Laundry hamper? Medicine chest? Have you completely emptied your purse – and I mean taking every last thing out? Positive it’s not in the car?
It’s in the easy chair in the family room. That’s where mine always is.
Being a man! Masha finds enough money for a pizza in the sofa, quite often.
Could it have fallen between seats or under in your car? I’ve lost mine twice in my MASSIVE purse. Really thought it was gone forever. Then, found it. Dur. My purse is half the size of my body. I should have somebody take a photo of me holding it to prove that face. It’s bigger than my courier bag…and I carry one of those, too.
I always go back to the places I’ve checked 3 times already and it’s usually in one of those places.
I just posted an Exploding Dog comic for you on my page.
oh Larui – hope you find it ASAP!
btw, I just saw that you tried to post a comment on my blog back on the 17th, and I never saw the notification! Something is weird around here.
But: my blog is at http://undercoverlagomorph.wordpress.com/ and you’re on my list! (The buzzbase1 blog is actually an archive for my Vox blog, until I figure out wtheck to do with it.)
Let me try to post a comment again! I’m never at a loss for comments! 🙂
